Massachusetts Offers Farm Business Planning Course

The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources will offer a five-part Growing Your Farm Business Plan Course on Tuesdays from January 26 through March 2, 2027. The course provides structured support to help you set goals for your farm business, resulting in a written business plan with financial projections. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the course is filled. The course fee is subsidized to be $100 per farm for up to two owner/operators from each farm. Enrollment is open to farmers who have been managing a farm business in Massachusetts for at least the two prior years. Experienced farmers may utilize the course to plan for growth or to obtain financing.
