The Food Systems Leadership Network and ISED Solutions are organizing an action-oriented national gathering of community food systems leaders in Asheville, North Carolina, April 5–8, 2027. The event will bring together 500+ community food systems leaders, farmers, public servants, funders, researchers, and other partners from across the country in Western North Carolina for three days of learning, connection, skill-building, and collective action. Organizers are inviting proposals for interactive workshop, design labs, panels, story circles, lightning talks and other types of sessions in six different thematic tracks. Proposals should align with the theme, “Making Our Way: Mobilizing Community Wisdom for Collective Action.” The deadline for submitting session proposals is November 15, 2026.
