Roots Ranch is a small farm located in the rural town of Winkelman, Arizona.
We are seeking individuals who would want to be involved in the following projects:
Construction of a 10,000 square foot egg and poultry processing plant
Management of 7,000 layers (hens)
Integration of regenerative practices with a small herd of cattle
Private and independent housing and meals are provided.
We also operate a farm school for ~20 young girls in our community. These young students attend school 2-3 days a week on the farm. This is a non-traditional educational program where students receive hands-on, practical experience.
Educational Opportunities: Roots Ranch is owned and operated by Dr. Jeremi Brewer (PhD in business) and Dr. Rebecca Brewer (PhD in education). We also have other individuals with PhDs in the surrounding area who volunteer at the farm.
