Washington State Department of Agriculture is accepting concept proposals for Specialty Crop Block Grants to enhance the competitiveness, and increase the demand for, Washington’s specialty crops. Grant awards will range from $25,000 to $250,000 per project, and projects may last for up to three years. Awards are expected to total approximately $4.7 million. Nonprofit and for-profit organizations; local, state, federal, and tribal government entities; and public and private colleges and universities are eligible to apply.
