The Texas Conservation and Sustainability Initiative is a USDA-NRCS-funded program led by Texas A&M AgriLife Research that provides financial incentives to help Texas farmers, ranchers, and foresters adopt conservation practices that improve soil health and long-term productivity. TCSI is designed for Texas commodity producers with crops, livestock, forestry products, or other agricultural goods for sale. Eligible operations include row crops, orchards, grazing lands, hay production, vegetable operations, and forests. Working lands must be located in the state of Texas and participants can obtain technical assistance and earn incentives up to $100,000 for implementing conservation practices.
