The EPA Gulf of America Division is accepting proposals for water quality and/or habitat improvement projects designed for one of four designated focus areas and located within the Gulf of America watershed. The four focus areas are Farmer-to-Farmer Mentorship, Demonstrating Regenerative Farming Benefits through Monitoring, Innovative Technologies for Regenerative Farming, and Habitat Improvement for Nutrient and Soil Management. Additionally, all applicants are encouraged to incorporate the development, utilization, or expansion of innovative technologies. The program anticipates approximately 30 awards of $1.5 million to $2.5 million for five-year projects. Tribes, local governments, institutions of higher education, and nonprofits are eligible to apply.
