Electronics Recycling Event

Our Annual Community Electronics Recycling Event in Butte

Since 2006, we’ve kept 843,559 lbs (421.78 tons) of electronic waste out of the landfill in Butte, MT. Our annual Electronics Recycling event is one of the ways we invest in resilient communities.

Electronics aren’t like everyday waste. They are made up of a complex mix of materials, some of which are rare and valuable, while others are toxic. E-waste recycling is an essential way to capture those elements before they enter the landfill. We host this annual event at our Butte, MT, headquarters to make it easier for people in the region to do the right thing with their outdated or broken electronics, while reducing the need to extract these natural resources from the environment.

Every year in June, NCAT hosts an electronics recycling event at its Butte, Montana, headquarters.

The event is free and open to the public, and we encourage community members to bring their unwanted electronics to be recycled.

NCAT has scheduled its free annual electronics recycling event for Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The public is invited to drop off electronics that are no longer needed at the drop-off location on the north side of the NCAT building, in Butte, Montana.

Please send us a note

If you have general questions about the upcoming event or you have a very large lot of electronics and need us to bring a moving truck to your location on June 15th, please send us a note.
