The National Institute of Food and Agriculture is accepting applications from nonprofit and community organizations, producer organizations, agencies, and others for Food Safety Outreach Program-Community Outreach Projects. This program offers funding up to $300,000 focused on delivering customized training to community members. The program supports developing grant writing and technical assistance resources. This includes on-farm and on-site training and/or technical assistance that focuses on pre- and post-harvest water testing and sampling, soil amendments, developing supply chain programs, and/or developing food safety plans.
