General Farm Description: Located on 120 rolling acres in northwest New jersey and milking hundreds of sheep, goats and cows, valley shepherd is one of the premier producers in the northeast with heavy presence at retail stores and farmers markets.

Internship Details:

Cheesemaking, yogurt making, affinage and farm markets:
We produce over 40 products from sheep, goat and cow milk . Intern involvement in artisan cheesemaking, cave aging (affinage) and farmer markets.
Min internship 6 months up to 12 months.
Housing free onsite, must reside onsite.

Educational Opportunities: deep dive into cheesemaking, aging and marketing.

Skills Desired: food passion, possibly food science possible biotech

Stipend: Yes, 300/week+ free housing+ bonus at markets
