We are hiring one full time intern for 2025. We have many projects on our family’s beautiful homestead but our livelihood is 1 acre of garden space. We are looking for someone who is capable of working outdoors all day in the not-always-comfortable conditions of a Virginia summer. Your tasks here would revolve around harvesting, washing, and packing produce, but would also include greenhouse seeding, watering, transplanting, pruning, and potentially a lot more. Once we become familiar with your interests and aptitude we will consider these when assigning tasks, but you should expect the week’s workflow to center on a harvesting/cleaning/transplanting routine.

We operate an on-farm CSA on Thursdays and currently attend 2 weekend farmer’s markets. These are the focal points of our work week.
