CCOF has released How to Go Organic: A Step-by-Step Guide to Transitioning to Organic Agriculture in California.” The guide, funded by the Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP), is in the form of a slide deck available in English or Spanish and easily viewable from a tablet or phone. It serves farmers who are brand-new to organic by explaining organic agriculture and its many benefits, as well as providing recommendations for the most impactful organic practices to implement at the start of an organic transition. The guide also details the steps to organic certification and offers additional links and resources to continue exploring organic.
