Cultivating Care for Veterans in Agriculture is a VA-funded project designed to co-create a multi-level, community-based suicide prevention program with Veterans working in agriculture, including farming, ranching, forestry, and/or fishing. The project is conducting a 10-minute online survey on stressors, challenges, and needs, to gather information nationwide about Veterans working in agriculture. The survey data is being collected for use in a joint effort between the VA and community partners, including the Cultivating Care Multi-Stakeholder Panel, to improve availability of mental health services for Veterans working in agriculture. Organizers are inviting farmer veterans across the United States to participate in the survey by navigating to the website https://varedcap.rcp.vaec.va.gov/redcap/surveys/ and then entering the code ND4Y884A3na.
