General Farm Description: We are a small (3+acres) located in the lush Snoqualmie Valley outside of Seattle. Our farm's mission is to help people return to an "earth consciousness" by offering different programs: our extensive u-pick program where we encourage families to get into the fields and get their hands dirty while they learn about different vegetables, our "Learn and Grow" program -- a season-long program of "doing" where individuals learn the basics of growing healthy foods taught by our Field Manager, and our educational classes.

Internship Details:
We are looking for someone as part of our small team from July-October. Duties would include bed preparation, watering, seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, etc. This is a paid position ($17.30/hr). Hours can be somewhat flexible — either full-time or part-time.
Educational Opportunities: Because we are a small farm, we operate as a cohesive team where everyone is learning daily -- mostly from nature as our primary teacher, but from our field manager, as well as each other.
Skills Desired: Previous farm work experience helpful, but not necessary.
Meals: You are free to harvest directly from the field.
Stipend: no.
Housing: unfortunately not
