General Farm Description: The Hickories, located in Ridgefield, CT, growing certified organic fruit, vegetable, cut flower and pasture-raised livestock farm. The Hickories is a women owned farm established in 2004 but has been a working farm for over 200 years. Our mission is to produce safe, nutritious products grown with respect for soil, animals and people. Our vision is to model an agriculture that is innovated and replicable: one that is ecologically, economically, and socially responsible. We work to connect our community to working farmland.
