The Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts’ Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) Initiative, “Building Profitable and Diverse Market Pathways, from Soil to Sales,” aims to assist Oklahoma producers in strengthening their operations through conservation planning focused on soil health that improves land performance, commodity production, and market opportunities. Complete and submit an application online for one of 125 available contracts. Priority support is designated for row crop, beef production, specialty crop, orchard, and urban producers. The program pays producers for participation, progress, and building a working system that improves their operation over time by creating greater marketing autonomy. The program includes an Enrollment Payment of $2,500 to $5,000 for committing to the program and developing a three-year plan with a technical advisor.
