Karen joined NCAT in 2008 and has served in several support roles related to office operations including office reception, travel, publications, and HR support. She brings expertise related to document management, confidentiality practices, and customer service to her role as HR Assistant.
Karen is a passionate advocate for local history and preservation in Butte, MT. She is a founding member of the Butte Historical Memorial Board and helped lead efforts to commemorate 58 individuals lost in a long forgotten 1895 tragedy. Karen serves as NCAT’s unofficial historian, offering tours and sharing the rich story of the historic former poor farm that now houses NCAT headquarters.
