Internship information
General Farm Description: Zephyros is a certified organic cut flower and vegetable farm that has been serving the western slope of Colorado for over 20 years. Located in Paonia, in the beautiful and fertile North Fork Valley, we grow flowers for wholesale and retail markets in Aspen, Crested Butte, and Telluride. We provide a seasonal CSA of weekly bouquets to local supporters and wholesale vegetables to a local food hub. We are committed to cultivating soil health, agroecological diversity, and a robust local food and flower economy. Quality of life, fulfillment at work, and compensation for employees are our top priorities. Most of our team members work four-day weeks on overlapping fixed schedules so that we can meet the daily needs of the farm while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We are unique in that we operate as a horizontally managed team, which helps us to create an environment that encourages innovation, critical engagement, and initiative.CRAFT Member Farm? No
