General Farm Description: Amaltheia Organic Dairy is a sustainable, organic company that has been handcrafting organic goat cheeses for over 20 years. We utilize all of our by-products and grow organic vegetables using composted manure from the goats.

Internship Details:
Full Time-weekdays(M-F), afternoon shift
This job is very physical, you must be able to lift 50 pounds easily and comfortably.
Daily duties:
Helping with end of kidding season, feeding goats, checking waters for all animals and filling when necessary, fence/barn maintenance, animal health care and maintenance care and goat milking.
Experience not required, but animal experience, specifically with goats and skid steer or machinery operation a plus!
Must be patient with animals and equipment, have the ability to work well unsupervised, pay attention to detail, must have reliable transportation, and be present at work while working and focused on the care of the animals and farm property. Skid steer experience helpful, but not required.
