Internship Details:

Hello from Fairy Lantern Farm, in the scenic Capay Valley of Northern California.  We are a small Organic Farm specializing in olives and citrus.   The internship will focus on orchard management – mainly pruning, irrigation, and learning about caring for new trees.  We are offering horticultural training and lodging in the farms charming farmhouse in exchange for part time help in the orchards.

Educational Opportunities: Learn Organic orchard management

Skills Desired: Horticultural Curiosity, can-do attitude , and reliability! Pruning and irrigation experience a plus!

Meals: No

Stipend: This internship is an exchange for lodging. Interns will have mostly private use of the farmhouse for the summer. There are several large organic farms nearby that offer paid jobs that would be compatible with this part-time internship.
