General Farm Description: Living Soil Farm is a truly unique farm. It is managed by experienced graduates of the Soil Food Web school consultancy program. We make our own biologically complete compost and compost products. We use only soil microbes, and homeopathic remedies to grow our crops. nothing else. That means no organic or inorganic fertilizers of any type, no herbicides or pesticides of any type. We do not till, and we do not use plastic for weed suppression in our fields. We are a small 2 acre farm, in beautiful central Maine. We area short distance from beautiful lakes and about 25 minutes from the ocean.

Internship Details:

This position would be great for anyone interested in  learning and working with other interns on a truly cutting edge natural farm. The daily duties include the normal farm tasks, such as weeding, mulching, harvesting, planting, etc. We do all  the hard physical work required on a farm. Duties will also include making biologically complete teas and extracts and how to apply them. It’s a great opportunity to work with experienced graduates of the Soil Food Web School consultancy program.

Living Soil Farm is located in a rural biodynamic environment. As such we welcome applicants who do not regularly or habitually use any form of drugs or alcohol. This includes recreational cannabis products.

Applicants must have own transportation.


Educational Opportunities: Learn from experienced soil health consultants about the proper way to make compost and compost products. Also learn about the cutting edge field of agro homeopathy from a CCH certified homeopath.

Skills Desired: Applicant must have some experience working on garden or farms, and must have a strong interest in natural farming. Must be able to do physical farm work on a daily basis.

Meals: We provide farm vegetables when available. Mostly after July 15th.

Stipend: yes ,20 per hour

Housing: We offer a private room, with a staff indoor shower and washing machine area in a separate buildingAlso there is a refrigerator and food area.
