General Farm Description: Kindlewood Farms is a small scale vegetable farm producing nutrient dense produce for the Charleston area. We take pride in providing high quality produce direct to consumer via farmers markets and close relationships with chefs. We feel extremely passionate how and what we grow. We have 8 acres to manage sustainably and responsibly. We rotate seasonal vegetables through four market garden style fields. We compost deeply and till minimally to keep our soil happy and healthy.

Internship Details:

Kindlewood Farms is offering a paid internship/farm hand position to learn/aid in nursery greenhouse production, field preparation, plant maintenance, harvesting and post harvest handling.  No experience necessary but a passion for healthy food production, a love of nature, and interest in vegetables is preferred. Ideal candidates wish to learn agricultural skills through hands on experience guided by an experienced farmer.
