We work with community partners to provide free CSA memberships, offer sliding scale, work-trade, and host a "pay what you can" farm stand. We promote regenerative agriculture practices and incorporate permaculture principles in our farm's development. We offer a queer-run, inclusive and affirming environment.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
We are currently looking for one or two farm interns! Travel stipend, CSA farm share, plus land use and market options included as part of the internship.
Interns will have opportunities to participate in a broad array of tasks related to operating a small, diverse market farm. Interns will learn about local food systems and gain direct experience in Certified Naturally Grown practices. Field work will involve growing, harvesting, and packing produce for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), farm stand, and farmers market customers. We love to learn and hope interns will share their knowledge and experience with us as well. Special projects are possible, and we can help match the focus of learning to their interests.
You will be joining a team of two (Melissa and Joanna) along with some work traders who help out on bigger projects. We are LGBTQ+ affirming and work to be inclusive and relationship-based. BIPOC folks welcomed and encouraged to apply. We will support interns by incorporating education and mentorship throughout the workday, as well as offer opportunities for field trips and workshops, based on student interest.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain practical skills and work experience or someone wanting to learn the skills to start their own farm. The internship will focus on general practice, but offer specialized opportunities in orchard, hoop house, field, or soil management. Join our team and come grow with us!
