General Farm Description: Just 40 minutes from Yosemite, Happy Goat is a nonprofit farm on a mission—feeding families in need, protecting our community with goat-powered fire prevention, and healing the land through regenerative farming. We fund this impact through unforgettable guest experiences with our therapy animals—baby pigs, cows, sheep, lambs, alpacas, and, of course, baby goats.

Internship Details:

Buscamos una o varias personas de confianza, trabajadoras y motivadas para incorporarse a nuestro equipo. Las tareas incluyen las labores diarias de alimentar y dar de beber a los animales, trasladar y pastorear a las cabras, regar, plantar, desbrozar, cosechar y atender y ayudar a los huéspedes.

Educational Opportunities: Organic no-till farming, holistic management, permaculture, agritourism.

Skills Desired: Animal and vegetable experience is preferable but most importantly you need to be reliable, honest, hardworking, self starter.

Meals: No, but free veggies and fruits.

Stipend: Yes hourly wage $18-25 depending on experience.

Housing: Yes, onsite camp trailer.
