Internship information

General Farm Description: We are Chris and Alex and we started Future Days Farm in 2016. Since the beginning, we've strived to grow our food with environmentally sustainable practices and without the use of any chemicals like pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. We grow a variety of vegetables and raise free-range chickens for their eggs. We offer a spring and summer CSA, and we sell at the Market at SCA in Saugatuck, MI.

Internship Details:

Work includes weeding,
harvesting, and caring for our vegetable crops, and also caring for
our free-range chickens. Work required on Mondays and Thursdays
to help prepare for the farmers market. Job requires physical labor.

Educational Opportunities: No formal opportunities.

Skills Desired: Anyone with a good attitude and willing to improve everyday.

Meals: In the past we have provided bulk oats and beans in addition to fresh produce from the garden. We are open to meal sharing.

Stipend: Yes. Based on experience. We are not cheap.
