Internship Details:
You will be an integral part of the team and participate in all aspects of day to day life on the farm. The majority of the work revolves around harvest of the fruit. Please contact us for more details.
Educational Opportunities: We are perpetual students ourselves, so interns will learn along with us. We are committed to sharing what we know about farming, land stewardship and the business of running a farm, with a focus on sustainability.
Skills Desired: Experience with farming is a plus but not necessary. You will be involved in the day to day life of our farm and we are looking for folks that will be both team oriented and able to work alone. The work can be physically demanding at times. We ask that you are able to lift 40 lbs. and enjoy physical labor, are comfortable on a ladder and have a valid drivers license.
Meals: No. You are welcome to as much fruit as you like and there will be room provided for growing your own veggies.
Stipend: $14+/hr DOE
Housing: Yes. We have a small cabin with electricity and your own kitchen. There is a shared, between interns, bath / laundry room.
