Organic Farming Research Foundation’s Farmer-Led Trials Program

Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF) is accepting applications for the next cohort of organic farmers who will be leading on-farm research trials with OFRF technical assistance in 2026. OFRF’s Farmer-Led Trials Program provides technical assistance and a small amount of funding to a select cohort of organic and transitioning-to-organic growers each year. Throughout the on-farm trial process, OFRF will provide technical assistance to help farmer-researchers refine their research questions, design their experiments, identify data collection protocols, analyze data, and present their findings. Additionally, farmer-researchers will receive support for supplies, small equipment, data collection tools, testing, or labor.
