Grants are available through the North Dakota Department of Agriculture to North Dakota farmers markets to purchase marketing supplies to increase visibility, awareness, and attendance at the markets, and to increase sales of specialty crops. Farmers markets may apply for a grant up to $2,500 to support purchase of branded tents/canopies, branded tablecloths, flags/banners, and print materials such as display signs, posters, or flyers. The grants are available on a competitive basis, scored on need, impact, and work plan to address the stated project objectives.
