The North Valley Food Hub at CSU Chico’s Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Resilient Systems is supporting farmers through the USDA Advancing Markets for Producers grant. Through the Marketing Advancement Planning (MAP) program, growers in Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Yuba, Sutter, Colusa, Glenn, Butte, Tehama, Nevada, and Placer counties of California can access tools and funding to expand and improve their sales and marketing capacity through thoughtful self-assessment, grower-driven priority setting, and actionable planning. Participants will use the Self-Assessment Tool and Marketing Advancement Plan template to create a MAP to success, tailored to your farm needs and goals, and receive $15,000 to put your plan into action. The program will select 50 successful applicants, prioritizing farms with clear needs and strong potential for meaningful impact.
