Regenerative Agriculture and Agroforestry Small Farm Workshop

Tom Harrison is renovating an old farm east of Hart and is currently growing a market garden and raising pastured pigs and chickens. Attendees at this free field day will see these practices and learn about assessing their own soil’s health, utilizing cover crops, different approaches to eliminating chemicals on a small farm, using mulch, biochar, and implementing agroforestry practices such as Silvopasture, Windbreaks, and Forest Farming. Attendance is limited.
