Imelda Sandoval joined the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) in 2026 as a Project Operations Coordinator for the Wool Quality Improvement project. In this role, she coordinates project workflows and facilitates cross-team communication to support wool producers in improving wool quality, adopting conservation practices, and exploring value-added opportunities.

Imelda brings more than 20 years of experience in biomedical research and healthcare operations, with a strong track record in project coordination, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. She is excited to apply her skills to NCAT’s mission of advancing solutions in sustainable agriculture and clean energy.

Imelda lives in St. George, Utah. She loves to travel and explore new trails on long hikes.
