Ilona Wilde
Program Manager – Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) Initiative
Ilona started with NCAT in 2023 and is currently the program manager NCAT’s Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) initiative to enhance the US’s sheep and wool industry. She works to develop and implement internal systems to support producers.
Ilona lives in Butte, Montana, and is an avid potter, gardener, and outdoor enthusiast. In her free time, you can find Ilona exploring southwest Montana on cross country skis or backpacking with her dog, Skylark.
Education:
Ilona has a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology and has worked for various non-profit, federal, and state agencies across the country. She has focused her career on conservation policy, public land management, and grant writing.
