Growing Your Market: Strategies for Promoting Organic Farm Products

This hands-on workshop is designed to help farmers define, measure, and share their farm’s unique story. Farmers will explore how to identify their core values, highlight sustainable practices, and communicate those strengths through authentic storytelling.

The morning will focus on clarifying what makes your farm stand out—whether it’s family-run operations, soil-friendly methods, or pollinator habitats—while learning to connect those practices with customer values and sustainability metrics. After that, we’ll dive into practical marketing tools, including social media, email, signage, and video creation to visually and digitally share your story. Farmers will also create a short farm reel, design a mini marketing campaign, and set achievable goals to strengthen their customer base.

By the end of the day, participants will walk away with a clear, engaging narrative and a concrete plan to grow their farm’s presence and impact.
