On Dec. 4, 2013, FoodCorps Arkansas Fellow Rachel Spencer was one of three presenters on the webinar “Partnering with Cooperative Extension to Support Farm to School.” Rachel highlighted examples of how FoodCorps service members have partnered with Extension in several states for activities such as food tastings, farm field trips, and garden-based lessons.

The webinar, hosted by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, was the third in a series on ways Cooperative Extension can support farm to school efforts. Debra Eschmeyer, FoodCorps Co-Founder and Vice-President of External Affairs, also presented, as did Susan DeBlieck, Extension Educator in Community Food Systems with the University of Minnesota Extension.
