Are you interested in learning how to become Certified Naturally Grown (CNG)? If so, this workshop is for you!
NCAT Horticulture Specialists Guy Ames and Luke Freeman will lead a three-hour Certified Naturally Grown Workshop on Thursday, October 24 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. The event will take place at Cobblestone Farm, 1210 N. 54th Ave., in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Guy and Luke will explain how to become Certified Naturally Grown and will demonstrate what a CNG farm inspection includes. In addition, they’ll talk about:
- Why become Certified Naturally Grown?
- How does CNG compare to Organic Certification?
- What are the requirements for CNG?
The workshop is free, but attendees must register. Register online at https://www.ncat.org/events/. The workshop will include presentations as well as a mock CNG inspection in the field. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and farm-appropriate shoes.
