Natural Beekeeping, Risk Management Seminars in November

 

Two free seminars are being offered Nov. 20 by the National Center for Appropriate Technology Gulf States office in Jackson, Miss.:

—  2:30 p.m. to 3:30 Natural Beekeeping by NCAT  Outreach Coordinator Jim Ewing. Explains chemical-free beekeeping for hobbyists, gardeners and small scale farmers.
— 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. Legal Risk Management: Protecting Your Farm and Your Family by NCAT Agriculture Specialist Felicia Bell. Outlines risks and protective strategies for farmers and ranchers.

Both seminars will be held at the NCAT Gulf States offices at 2548 Livingston Road, location of the old New Deal Grocery, at the Jackson Medical Mall.
