Estate Planning for Farmers

ncatworkshopThe Gulf States Office of the National Center for Appropriate Technology hosted a workshop on estate planning for farmers at its offices at the Roadmap for Health Equity building in Jackson, MS, at the Jackson Medical Mall on Tuesday, July 16. Presented by the Jackson State University Farmers’ Network, the seminar was titled “How to Keep From Losing Your Land.” Topics included primary reasons for loss of land, taxes and liens, foreclosures and bankruptcies, discrimination against black farmers, and other issues.
