Looking for Sustainable Energy Interns

Spend your school year and summer working with professionals on sustainable energy! Join a team that is willing to customize your internship relevant to your education, skills and interests! Learn new skills and put your education to work! The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) is looking for a qualified student to work in its Butte, MT office.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have good communication skills, an interest or background in sustainability, environmental science, energy, or engineering and a high level of computer skills. The successful student will interact with the public and NCAT staff in a professional manner. Candidates will have the opportunity to display spreadsheet, word processing, analytical and web-based research skills.

Opportunities: A student with skills and expertise in sustainability, architecture, building science, engineering, environmental science, or engineering will have a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in NCAT’s energy program.

Compensation: $10.00 to $12.00 per hour, depending on experience. Students with work study eligibility will also be considered.
