Apply Now for ATTRA Farm Management Course

Are you ready to take your farm to the next level?

The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) is now accepting applications from farmers who would like to participate in the “Taking Your Farm to the Next Level” training course.

This six-part course will equip farmers and ranchers with the business and financial management skills necessary to operate successful and sustainable farm businesses for the long-term. Participants will set meaningful goals for their farm businesses and will receive the informational tools, resources, and support to make progress towards those goals.

The training series will take place in person for a cohort of 30 farmers and ranchers in the Ozarks region. Participants will commit to attending all six training sessions over the course of six months. Activities also will include completing homework assignments and participating in group discussions.

Participants will receive training and support on whole-farm planning, business plan development, and financial management. Other topics will include access to capital, recordkeeping, and market development. NCAT sustainable agriculture specialists will teach the training sessions with contributions from USDA agency staff, business experts, and experienced crop and livestock producers.
