Cultivating Accessible Opportunities for Veterans in Agriculture

A Beginning Farmer Training

NCAT Northeast Regional Office Director Andy Pressman is teaming up with Growing Warriors, the Kentucky AgrAbility Project, and Kentucky State University (KSU) to present Cultivating Accessible Opportunities for Veterans in Agriculture. This FREE, one-day workshop will take place April 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the KSU Research Farm, 1525 Mills Lane, Frankfort, KY. Expert presenters will cover a wide range of topics, including farm planning, water quality, and proper tool usage. The workshop will also provide practical demonstrations of adaptive technologies and how they fit into a farm enterprise. This event is veteran-focused, but open to all.
