funded by donations from customers and employees of Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E).
Each year, PG&E gives up to $2.25 million to Relief for Energy Assistance
through Community Help (REACH.)
- Customer donations to Southern California Gas Co.'s Gas Assistance Fund are matched
dollar for dollar up to $250,000 by corporate funding from Sempra Energy. In 2002,
contributions of $462,697 assisted 6,600 households. Since the Fund was established in
1982, more than $9 million has been disbursed to families in need.
