NCAT would like to thank the residents of Butte and the surrounding area for the wonderful response we had at this year's 2012 Electronics Recycling Event. NCAT staff and friends were busy all day. The amount of e-waste turned in this year surpassed all previous years! Much of this waste consisted of computer monitors and old tube type televisions - which can contain between five to eight pounds of lead each!
That's a lot of e-waste that that didn't end up in the Butte landfill!
Thanks everyone for caring for our community!
